Jordan 1 Retro Shattered Backboard

During the Nike Europe tour in 1985, a remarkable event unfolded as Michael Jordan executed a jaw-dropping dunk that shattered a backboard. Sporting an orange, black, and white uniform at that moment, this extraordinary occurrence became the inspiration for the 2015 release of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Shattered Backboard’ (also known as ‘Shattered Backboard 1.0’). Honoring the significance of that uniform, this sneaker features a captivating color combination. In the following year, specifically in the Fall of 2016, another iteration known as the Air Jordan 1 ‘Shattered Backboard Away’ (or ‘Reverse’ and ‘Shattered Backboard 2.0’) entered the scene. Retaining the black laces and Nike branding, this version replaced the orange toe box, as well as the black areas around the toe and tongue, with a pristine white hue.
